|Name||Lakehead University Interprofessional Student Society (LIPSS)|
|Purpose||We are a group of students from a variety of health disciplines at Lakehead University, who seek to promote interprofessional education and practice. We encourage patient-centered care and working collaboratively with multiple disciplines to determine the best care plan for individuals. We run our annual SimChallenge, which is a major simulation where students from multiple disciplines come together to create the best method of assisting the patient. We have students from many backgrounds including Nursing, Social Work, Kinesiology, Gerontology, Psychology, Law, Education, Medicine, Physician Assistant, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Dietetic Internship.|
