Purpose The Lakehead Underwater Hockey club's purpose is to promote good sportsmanship and maximize the accessibility of this challenging sport for all LU students. Underwater Hockey is a co-ed sport that fosters a welcoming community with a strong tradition of teamwork and comradery. As a student athletic club, we will support our members through providing resources and opportunities for improving student playing skill. Increasing student participation will grow the possibility for Lakehead to compete with other community & school UWH teams. The Lakehead Underwater Hockey Club will promote Lakehead through sport. Anyone that would like to try underwater hockey is welcome to the club, where a history of close community support, will provide the coaching for anyone who wishes to improve their athleticism.
